Gary Vaynerchuk and the wine family business on building43.

Strokes has finally been approved in the App Store and I must say, I love the Simple UI. Henry and Ellenich did a great job on it.

I’ve used a bunch of different golf apps on my iPhone, and just about all of them took too much work to be valuable. I need something simple that I can pick up and put down quickly while going from a green to the next tee box. Strokes accomplishes that.

So go check it out. It’s definitely worth your $2.

I love to look of this interior. I can’t get over the thought that it would be a pain in the arse to keep this clean. Then again, if you own this type of setup you’re clearly well off (financially), so you can either 1.) pay someone good money to keep it very clean, or 2.) repurchase whatever it is that got too dirty.

“ Listen up, Palm marketing people. If you’ve just launched your big breakthrough product, and the only way you can explain that product to people is to run ads comparing it to another product — well, you’ve pretty much already lost, haven’t you? „

From Fake Steve Jobs in And another thing about Palm running ads about us, regarding the ad that Palm did for the Pre.

drintelmann:

Awesome bottle design. Love the typography. (via lovely packaging)

I love everything about the design of those labels.

“ OK. Deep breath. Let’s admit that Jobs is a royal pain in the neck. Most of us probably wouldn’t want to work for him, or live next door to him, or have to negotiate deals with him. He’s spoiled, and arrogant, and he has a terrible temper. But he’s also brilliant. Those lines at the Apple store today? Tim Cook didn’t create those. Neither did Phil Schiller, Apple’s marketing chief, or Ron Johnson, the retail boss who runs the stores, or even Jon Ive, Apple’s design guru. No, Steve Jobs is the one who gets those people to line up. He’s the one with the vision. He’s the one who inspires the fanboys. „

Although this is only a concept, this Samurai Vodka bottle is some of the best packaging I’ve seen in a while.

Though I would expect more on the graphics front, this game looks pretty fun still.

iPhone OS running on a Mac Pro with 24” monitor. Favorite part is that they implemented the accelerometer.

Very cool.
