iPad + Velcro. This gave me a lot of ideas, though, I think the part where it’s place right on the stove is pretty dumb. Otherwise, pretty cool stuff.

When you write like everyone else and sound like everyone else and act like everyone else, you’re saying, “Our products are like everyone else’s, too.” Or think of it this way: Would you go to a dinner party and just repeat what the person to the right of you is saying all night long? Would that be interesting to anybody? So why are so many businesses saying the same things at the biggest party on the planet — the marketplace?
I don’t think I’ll be buying any more desktops going forward. I don’t think I’ll even be buying any more laptops going forward. They’ve all been largely obsoleted (at least at my home) by a sleek $499 device that doesn’t really have any right to be called a “computer” in the traditional sense.

While I don’t feel the same way exactly (about never buying desktops/laptops), it’s really interesting to read of a big-time techies’ story with how the iPad was accepted within his family.

From the article ‘What iPads Did To My Family’.

Holy traffic! So we launched the TappGala site late last week, and as you see, pretty small numbers to start. Then we hit a huge spike, with much thanks to David Kaneda for linking it up.

Now, these may not be big numbers in the grand scheme of things, but my normal blogs don’t really get a ton of traffic, which I’m ok with. But this is just cool to see on one of my own projects, and just wanted to share that. I hope it keeps up!
